Carver Bain (he/him) is an award-winning interdisciplinary creative—writing fiction & poetry, making films/video, acting, and more.

Brought up in the PNW, Carver has found home in California, à la Raymond Chandler or John Steinbeck if you will. Carver studied creative writing, acting, and film at Johns Hopkins University, where he earned his B.A. in 2020. He was lucky enough to study under writers and actors such as Andrew Motion and John Astin.

Carver’s poetry can be found in literary & arts publications such as boats against the current, Zeniada Magazine, and Fine Lines Magazine His short film, How to Care for Strangers, was screened at film festivals such as Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) winning the award of Best Student Long Narrative.
